You know a limited number of people (and you include those acquaintances that come from minorities – how many Zoroastrians and Bahais(ts) in Iran again?) but you felt that a generalization to the majority of the population was in order…

LR, somewhere you were posting about how good Gloria Steinem looks for her age and I just saw the video.
Gloria looks pleasant, dignified and charming for her age. Contrast that with Janet Dickenson, though no doubt, the men in the MRA/PUA blogosphere would say Janet was doing what she should have been doing in her youth – displaying her feminine beauty in a way to please way – while Glorida was being a “feminazi bitch” who “probably couldn’t get laid and that’s why she turned to bitter feminism, out of jealousy of the ‘hot girls’ who can get men to pay for them” – since that’s what they always say.
Yet- here we see that an “OK” looking youthful Gloria aged into a pleasant and charming elderly woman, while the “hot and glamorous babe while young” Janice looks like hideous witch!
And I’ve noticed that amongst people – the really hot and glamorous tend to age MUCH WORSE than the more regular looking “moderately attractive” folk.
Any theories?
